Snorkel Trips

One of the great seasonal activities you can do on vacation in South Padre is to take a professionally guided snorkel trip.  Snorkeling in South Padre with American Diving offers you the most professional and experienced NAUI and PADI trained dive instructors. 

Seasonally, we have snorkeling trips up to 2 times a day aboard the MV Diver I.  We have the Island's only certified Snorkeling guides, Dive Masters, Snorkeling Instructors, and Dive Instructors.

The MV Diver I is a 60 ft, US Coast Guard inspected Diving/Snorkeling vessel, complete with air-conditioning, indoor/outdoor seating, fresh water shower and onboard restroom. Our snorkeling excursions go to the Laguna Madre Estuary or the South Padre Island jetties (as weather permits).

The trips are $25 dollars which includes all equipment, a tour of Whiskey Channel, and of tour of South Padre Island homes along the Thompson channel in our air-conditioned vessel with onboard restroom.  The total trips are generally 3 hours long with an hour of time being spent in the water.

Off shore snorkel trips for experienced snorkelers to the Iron Reef Little Sara are $60 pp which includes guide and equipment. The Iron Reef is 9 miles from shore in 95 feet of water.  All participants must be comfortable swimming and have prior experience using snorkeling equipment.
