Our snorkel trip is a three-hour round trip: about an hour of scenic cruising along the back side of South Padre Island, an hour in the water, and an hour back. The ride alone is worth it — calm bay water, sea birds, and often dolphins along the way.
You'll snorkel the Laguna Madre estuary, where the water runs roughly three to six feet deep. It's warm, clear, and calm, which makes it ideal for all ages and for first-time snorkelers. Our professional, licensed guides are in the water with you the whole time, and we hand out free fish food so the fish come right up to you.
Bring a swimsuit, a towel, sunscreen, and a sense of adventure. We'll take care of the rest.

Comfortable, Cool, and Easy
This is an easygoing boat ride, not a rough offshore run. You'll be aboard the M/V Diver I — a 50-foot, USCG-inspected vessel — cruising the sheltered water behind the island.
For those hot South Texas summer days, the boat has an air-conditioned cabin to cool off in, a marine-style head (restroom) on board, and a fresh-water shower to rinse off after your swim. It's a relaxing few hours on the water for the whole family.

No. No experience is needed, and our professional, licensed guides are in the water with you the whole time. It's a great first snorkel.
