Open Water Scuba Certification
Just imagine where you will go! Begin your underwater explorations by enrolling in a the NAUI Open Water Scuba Diver Certification class. This is our entry-level certification course where you will learn the fundamental knowledge and skills to safety dive in open water.
Earning your NAUI Scuba Diver Certification card is an accomplishment for which you will rightfully feel proud and you will be ready to begin a lifetime of underwater adventures and discovering. During your class you will learn about modern dive equipment, diving sciences, responsible diving practices and the environment. Diving skills will be taught and practiced first in the comfort and convenience of a confined water environment and finally during your open water training dives with your NAUI Instructor.
What's Included
Start with online classwork and testing. Once that is completed, you will have two confined water/pool sessions, approximately 4 hours each, and then two boat dive trips to complete your open water dive requirements. The pool sessions introduce the students to the skills that they need to dive safely, and the diving sessions reinforce each of these skills repeatedly.
Students are required to purchase (provide) own mask, snorkel, boots, and fins. Wetsuits and gloves are optional but highly recommended. Students receive a 10% discount on all purchases thru our store. We provide the BCD (buoyancy control device), regulator, gauges, tanks and weights.
At the end of the course, divers are not just certified, but qualified to dive anywhere in the world!!!

Getting started is easy!
Individuals ages 14+ and in good physical condition may enroll in the Open Water Scuba Diver course. There are two options two choose from:
Option #1
Cost is $900
– open water dives 1 & 2 – $250
– open water dives 3 & 4 – $250
-additional training dives – $250 (if necessary)
Option #2
– Private course includes: books, dive tables, online course access and assessment, rental equipment (listed above), pool sessions, confined water sessions and open water dives. Student works directly with instructor to develop personalized training schedule.
Cost is $1,500
– open water dives 1 & 2 – $450
– open water dives 3 & 4 – $450
-additional training dives – $450 (if necessary)
